Chief Treat Officer (CTO) - Cole's Official Position Description
Job Summary:
Cole, the Chief Treat Officer, is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all treat-related activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the procurement, distribution, and quality control of canine snacks. The CTO will ensure that all treat operations run smoothly and that the highest standards of tail-wagging satisfaction are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspections of treat inventory to ensure freshness and optimal chewiness.
Implement rigorous quality control measures, including taste-testing (personal favorite: peanut butter).
Develop and maintain relationships with local treat vendors (a.k.a. the neighbor who sneaks me snacks).
Oversee the distribution of treats during training sessions, ensuring maximum motivation and minimal distractions.
Lead the "Treat Appreciation Committee" (comprised of fellow canine friends) to evaluate new snack options.
Collaborate with the Human Resources department to initiate "Treat Tuesdays" and other special events.
Qualifications:
Must possess a keen sense of smell and the ability to locate hidden treats.
Experience in performing tricks for treats is a plus.
Strong communication skills, especially in barking and whining.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team (especially with fellow pets).
Proven track record in successfully retrieving treats from various locations.
Compensation:
Unlimited belly rubs, playtime, and a steady supply of treats (subject to human approval).
